PE Magazine is the 40-page monthly magazine that I produce for the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). I work with a team of writers and editors to make sure my design effectively communicates the intended messages of their articles through imagery (stock or source photography) and typography. Making sure each page is visually appealing to our target audience helps increase our readership.

The entire production process is scheduled to be completed in 11 days, which requires that I am both creative and efficient. Specific responsibilities that I assume during the production process include preflighting all files before submitting them to the printer and working with our internal marketing department and external advertising agency regarding ad placement and ad creation.

As a member of the team that redesigned PE Magazine in 2006, I am proud of its continued contribution to the mission of NSPE.
